I can't believe I didn't pick up this work of art earlier. I figured that it was going to be a rehash of the original Fable, but surprisingly enough it plays a lot differently. Sure, there were some things I missed (Personal Shield and a Force Push that's actually useful and an alignment system that was a lot more... reactive, I guess), but the well executed gun combat coupled with the far superior melee combat went far to make up for it.

I made a female character, you see. In the original Fable I had created a Warrior and a Willuser, so I decided to take the path of Skill this time around, pausing only to level up Toughness and Inferno. I also decided to be a woman because that's different from being a man like in Fable. So far, Skill has served me well. Nothing is more satisfying than killing an army of Hobbes from afar with sweet, sweet lead.

What is it about this game that is so damned addictive?
